i took a lot of pictures for other people when i was on the terrace, and after photographing an asian couple, the woman asked to take a picture with me…i got them to take one on my camera too.  i laughed about this for the rest of the day!

i took this picture from the top of the campanile so i’d remember which way to get back to the train station.  i was pretty exhausted (and sore the next day) after climbing all 414 stairs to get to the top of the tower!

i got boots!  and i also fail at taking pictures of myself!

last saturday, i went to florence by myself for a boots-shopping adventure…i bought myself some italian boots and took a lot of fantastic pictures while i was at it!  this is the view across the arno…because when i got into florence, i had no real orientation, so i just headed towards the arno until i knew where i was.

after the faculty recital last thursday night…aren’t we all such good-looking music students?  and our very talented professor, dr. walter!

our last cabaret was supposed to consist of collaborations between music students and theatre students.  here i am with theatre kid jon, performing “here i dreamt i was an architect” by the decemberists.
